This is a simpler way to install FireStarter on Fire TV without ADB, adbFire or an external computer. This could help people who have problems for sideloading FireStarter on Fire TV with an adbFire application. FireStarter (FireStopper) is an alternate replacement and replacement of the Fire TV home screen that simplifies the launch of sideloaded applications. My original guide on the Fire Starter on AFTV worked for most people, but some readers were experiencing problems (error installing ADB Fire). But after reading my guide on installing Kodi without adbFire or a computer, some readers wanted a guide similar to SIDeload FireStarter without a computer. So here it is.
Install FireStarter on Fire TV Without adb Fire (FireStopper for Fire OS 18.104.22.168)
If the original method failed, try this method to install FireStarter without adbFire or external equipment. So it does not matter if you have a Windows, Linux or Mac system because you do not need it. All you need is a Fire TV or Stick with an active Internet connection.
Using this method, you can not install FireStarter / FireStopper without adbFire or computer, but any compatible APK file. This method should also work on any Fire TV device: 2014 and 2015 versions of Fire TV and Stick.
1. Enable Install from Unknown Sources on AFTV
Before installing FireStarter or FireStopper on Fire TV without ADB, you will need to enable the installation of applications from unknown sources on your Fire TV. To do this, from the Home screen, go to Settings -> System -> Developer options and enable “Unknown sources” as shown in the image below.
2. Install the ES file browser on Fire TV or Stick
To install FireStarter without adbFire, you will need to install an application to call ES File Explorer on your Fire TV or Stick. ES File Explorer is part of our list of 10 best applications for Fire TV. There are several ways to install ES File Explorer on AFTV. You can log in to your Amazon account, open the ES File Explorer in the Amazon App Store and upload it to your Fire TV device, as shown in the image below.
3. Download FireStarter on Fire TV or Stick
You are now ready to install FireStarter on Fire TV without ADB. The next step is to add the FireStarter / FireStopper download source to ES File Explorer. Open the ES File Explorer and click on the first tutorial. Click “Favorites” and then “Add” as shown below. For “Path”, please enter https://www.htpcbeginner.com/aftv and for “Name” provide everything you can recognize
